Equipment Overview

This equipment takes flow control as an example to give a comprehensive experimental introduction to the basic principles of control engineering. All components are clearly placed on the vertical front panel. The large-format process diagram is helpful for understanding. The water pump transports the water in the storage tank to the pipe section. The flow rate is measured by the paddle wheel sensor. The transparent float flowmeter enables the control process to be clearly observed. The controller used is the most advanced digital industrial controller. The actuator in the control loop is an electric control valve. The ball valve in the pipeline section allows defined disturbance variables to be generated. The control variable x and the manipulated variable y can be used as analog signals for laboratory jacks. This allows external recording equipment such as plotters or oscilloscopes to be connected.
